Trada is a marketplace that connects advertisers with PPC experts. They have 5 target markets, and needed a website that directed each of those five groups to the right information.
Key features include:
- A tool for easily building landing pages with any type and arrangement of content.
- At the top of each page is an optional “top box”, which typically has a title, image/video, descriptive text and call to action button. I created a custom meta box that let’s you enter this data, specify whether or not a page displays the top box, and allow pages to inherit the content of their parent pages (so you don’t need to re-enter the content for each child page).
- Resources section is built from a custom post type (Resources), custom taxonomy (Resource Category), and custom meta boxes that let you specify all relevant data (ex: file upload for brochures, video url for videos…).
- Use of WordPress Menus, Widgets, and jQuery Lightboxes for videos.

From the Client
My experience working with Bill has been overwhelmingly positive. He is far and away the most competent and professional freelance developer to cross my path, for several reasons: he’s straightforward in his advice and realistic about timelines, he responds quickly, and his solutions are thoughtful and user-friendly.
Trada’s website project was a complete design and structure overhaul requiring multiple custom features. Bill executed efficiently, trained myself and my team to use the new CMS, and was patient with questions. If he were a bartender, I’d give him an embarrassingly big tip. I heartily recommend him to anyone who likes painless projects!
